One of 1,567 UK aesthetic clinics is ready to be recommended by AI

Aesthetic clinics are the highest-scoring sector SearchScore has published, averaging 56 out of 100. Exactly one clinic in the country clears the AI-Ready bar.

Exactly one of 1,567 UK aesthetic clinics is ready to be recommended by AI assistants, according to the UK Aesthetic Clinics 2026 edition of the SearchScore AI Visibility Index. Androfill reaches 85.4 out of 100 and clears the bar. No one else in the country does.

The best sector still has one clinic

The sector is the strongest SearchScore has published, averaging 56 out of 100 against a 43.2 all-web figure, and four clinics in ten score Strong. Being the best performing sector still means a single clinic is ready.

What clinics are missing

94% of clinics let AI crawlers in. Only about 15% name a qualified practitioner in a way a machine can read, and only 12% tag their frequently asked questions in the format an assistant can lift an answer from. The two weakest areas across the index are brand authority at 38 and structured data at 41, both trust and labelling signals rather than anything about the treatments themselves.

"In this sector the practitioner's qualification is the entire trust proposition. It is on the page, in a photograph, in a paragraph a patient can read," said Ronnie Huss, founder of SearchScore. "Fifteen per cent have said it in a way the machine can read. When someone asks an assistant which clinic to trust, that is the difference."

Across the sector, 39.6% of clinics score Strong (60 to 79), 52.6% sit in the Emerging middle (40 to 59), 7.4% are Low Visibility (20 to 39) and 0.4% are effectively invisible.

"The leaders are not better clinics, they feed AI better," said Huss. "The gap is tidy, well-labelled information, not the quality of the treatments."

All figures are free to publish with attribution to SearchScore, and no permission is required. Custom cuts by region or treatment type are available on request. The method is documented at methodology.
