Definition

A ranked list of third-party pages to earn presence on, derived from what AI engines already cite.

A source target list is the deliverable of source provenance mining: the third-party pages an engine already trusts and retrieves for the category, ordered by citation frequency and the number of distinct engines citing each one, filtered to those that do not yet mention the brand. It replaces speculative outreach lists built on domain authority or publication prestige with evidence of what the models actually read, so a single placement on a page cited by four engines is correctly valued above many placements nobody retrieves.
