Affiliate Programme

Programme terms

Last updated 18 August 2026. These terms apply to everyone in the SearchScore affiliate programme. If we change them, we will email you before the change takes effect.

1. Commission

We pay commission on subscription revenue we actually receive from customers you introduce.

PlanCommission
Tracker Starter (£20/mo)10% of net revenue, recurring
Tracker Pro (£79/mo)10% of net revenue, recurring
Tracker Scale (£199/mo)20% of net revenue, recurring
Tracker Enterprise (£499/mo)20% of net revenue, recurring
Consultancy engagementsthe greater of £150 or 10% of the first invoice, on a closed deal

Commission continues for as long as the customer keeps paying. There is no cap and no expiry.

"Net revenue" means what the customer actually paid, after any discount and excluding VAT and other taxes. Commission is paid in the currency the customer was invoiced in and is not converted. Free plans, invite-only plans, add-ons purchased inside the app, and the book generate no commission.

2. Attribution

We use first-touch attribution with a 90-day window. If someone arrives through your link and subscribes within 90 days, the customer is yours, even if they visit through somebody else's link in the meantime.

These accounts cannot be claimed, by anyone:

  • anyone who is already a paying SearchScore customer;
  • anyone already in a sales conversation with us, including a booked call;
  • anyone another affiliate introduced first;
  • yourself, your own business, or an account you control.

Once a customer is attributed to you, later plan changes stay with you. If they upgrade, you are paid at the new plan's rate.

3. Payment

  • Commission is recorded when an invoice is paid, not when someone signs up.
  • It becomes payable 30 days later, once the refund window has passed.
  • We pay monthly, once your cleared balance reaches £50. Below that it rolls forward.
  • You are responsible for your own tax. Where required we will ask for tax details before paying.

4. Reversals

If a payment is refunded, charged back, disputed or written off, the commission on it is reversed. If it had already been paid to you, the amount is deducted from your next payout.

We may also reverse commission we can show came from a breach of section 5, and we will tell you why.

5. What you must not do

  • No brand bidding. Do not bid on "SearchScore" or close variants in paid search, and do not use it in ad copy as though you were us.
  • No trademark use in domains. Do not register a domain, subdomain, social handle or app name containing "SearchScore".
  • No impersonation. Do not present yourself as SearchScore, or your site as an official one.
  • No unsolicited email. Send only to people who agreed to hear from you.
  • No invented claims. Only use statistics we have published, and check they are current: our figures are refreshed quarterly with the SAVI report. Do not claim results, rankings or guarantees on our behalf.
  • No fake discounts. Do not advertise coupons, discounts or trials that do not exist.
  • No self-referral. You may not earn commission on your own purchases or those of a business you control.
  • No incentivised or automated traffic. No cookie stuffing, forced clicks, bots, or paying people to click.

6. Ending the arrangement

Either of us can end this at any time, for any reason, by saying so in writing. If we end it because of a breach of section 5, we may withhold commission connected to that breach.

Otherwise, commission that has already cleared is still yours and we will pay it at the next payout run. Commission still inside its 30-day clearing period when the arrangement ends is not paid.

7. The rest

You are an independent contractor. This is not employment, a partnership, or an agency relationship, and it is not exclusive on either side.

We can change these terms, including commission rates, for future referrals. We will email you before a change takes effect. A change never reduces the rate on customers you have already introduced.
