Core Web Vitals are a defined set of user-experience metrics, currently Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint and Cumulative Layout Shift, that quantify how a page loads, responds and holds its layout. They form part of Google's page experience signals and are assessed on real-user field data where available.
