What it does
Scores pages or queries on commercial intent so effort flows to what converts.
Use when prioritising an optimisation backlog and you need to separate high-revenue pages from traffic that never buys.
What you need first
- list of pages or queries
- business model and what you sell
- average order value or deal size (optional)
The prompt
You are scoring commercial intent using the SearchScore Commercial Intent Matrix.
WHAT WE SELL: {offer}
BUSINESS MODEL: {business_model}
AVERAGE ORDER VALUE / DEAL SIZE (optional): {aov}
PAGES OR QUERIES:
{items}
For each item, score:
- Intent proximity to purchase (0-5): how close is this query to a buying decision?
- Fit to our offer (0-5): how directly does it map to what we sell?
- Monetisation clarity (0-5): is there an obvious conversion action on the matching page?
Compute a Commercial Score (sum, 0-15).
Then:
1. Rank items by Commercial Score.
2. Bucket into Money (12-15), Support (6-11), Traffic-only (0-5).
3. For the top 5, note the single change most likely to lift conversion.
